About Me
Hello! I'm Jason, a Singapore-based game designer/ programmer and a creator at heart. I'm a Year 3 Computer Science student in Interactive Media and Game Development at DigiPen Singapore, graduating in 2028. I started out in C++ engine development and I'm now expanding into level design. I led a 10-person team building our own engine, Hellmaker. Outside of code, I play music, draw, edit videos, tinker with my homelab, and am currently learning character design!

What I Do
Testimonials
I was surprised by his talent and curiosity as a designer. He has a tendency to explore ideas beyond what is initially asked of him, experimenting with mechanics and spaces and often finding interesting solutions in the process. … He has a natural talent for game design that I believe will take him far, and he remains humble and kind and strives to go beyond and do a little bit better every time.

Experience
2021 (March 8 - Aug 6)
NTU Lee Kong Chian School of MedicineProgrammer Intern, "Enhancing Medical Education Through Art, Design and Media"
Designed and built educational games and interactive media for NTU's medical school. My main project was DigiAnatomy: I rebuilt the department's existing anatomy quiz game (Digital Medic) from scratch as a roguelike in Unity WebGL (C#), for medical students from Year 1 to senior years. I worked with two art students on assets. I also prototyped an isometric pixel game (Pixi.js → Unity WebGL), built a React.js website, made Captivate study modules, and edited course videos, working in an Agile/Scrum team.
